CEDAG helps children in several ways including three main programs we use to support children in foster care: Sweet Cases, Building Bikes, and our Family Fellowship Scholarship Program. CEDAG has participants in every region fundraise to support these programs.
Without the help of participants across The Gambia, CEDAG wouldn’t be able to help so many foster kids. Sweet Cases is our largest program, helping to replace trash bags with blue duffle bags to make the foster care transitions a little bit easier for children. When foster youth age out of the system, we help provide them bikes.
Many youth at the aging out age are unprepared and don’t have transportation, so we give them bikes so they’re able to get to their jobs and school classes. For former foster youth, we support them with a scholarship program. Our Family Fellowship is the largest scholarship program in the nation that benefits youth who have aged out of the system. CEDAG’s Family Fellowship is a safe and supportive scholarship award that benefits successful youth who have aged out of the system. Our programs are growing and expanding thanks to our donors and corporate company supporters.
